Work Queues

A Work Queue is a native automation screen for lists of work. Use it when a user or team needs to see multiple items, pick one, assign it, prioritize it, or complete it.

Setup steps

  1. Add a Work Queue screen.

  2. Give it a business name, such as Finance Review Queue.

  3. Choose the workflow or scenario that feeds the queue.

  4. Choose which roles can see it.

  5. Show fields that help users prioritize: title, requester, due date, amount, priority, status, owner, and last activity.

  6. Add actions the queue owner needs: claim, assign, open, complete, escalate, or request changes.

  7. Test by starting the workflow from the source screen.

  8. Preview as the queue role and confirm the item appears.

Verification

The queue is ready when the intended role can find the queue, see the right items, understand priority, open the work, take the next action, and see the source record update.
