# Recovery History

\***Feature only available for Pro+ subscribers**\*

Feature Recovery History, a safety feature that saves a rollback snapshot of NotionApps app state before a destructive database reload is allowed to proceed. Designers on eligible plans can later view, preview, and restore that saved NotionApps state if the reload removes important app configuration such as sheets, records, screens, workflows, actions, users, or page content. It is important to explain that this feature restores NotionApps backend/app state only and does not restore deleted Notion databases, pages, properties, relations, or records inside Notion.

{% hint style="info" %}
Recovery History gives eligible NotionApps users a limited window to restore app state after a destructive database reload, with the snapshot availability based on subscription level. Pro plans include 2 days of recovery history, Premium plans include 7 days, and Enterprise plans include 15 days, giving higher-tier teams a longer safety window to recover from accidental app configuration loss. Recovery snapshots restore NotionApps app state only and do not restore deleted Notion databases, pages, properties, relations, or records inside Notion.
{% endhint %}

1. Reload or sync your connected Notion database from the NotionApps database area.
2. Review the destructive reload warning if NotionApps detects that the reload may remove or overwrite app configuration.
3. Confirm the reload only after understanding that the reload may affect NotionApps state such as sheets, records, screens, workflows, actions, personalization, users, or page content.

4. Allow NotionApps to create a recovery snapshot before the destructive reload proceeds. On eligible plans, this snapshot captures the app’s NotionApps state before changes are applied.
5. Complete the reload and review the app to see whether any important configuration was removed or changed.
6. Open the app’s Databases area and go to Recovery History.

7. Review the available recovery snapshots, including the date created, who triggered the reload, what was affected, the snapshot status, and when the snapshot expires.
8. Select a snapshot and open the preview to see what NotionApps captured before the destructive reload.
9. Read the restore warnings carefully, especially that Recovery History restores NotionApps app state only and does not restore deleted Notion databases, pages, properties, relations, or records inside Notion.

10. Choose Restore for the selected recovery point.
11. Complete the strong confirmation step by acknowledging that Notion data will not be restored, acknowledging that later NotionApps changes may be overwritten, and typing the required confirmation phrase.
12. Run the restore and wait for NotionApps to restore the captured app state.
13. Review the restored app carefully after the recovery completes, including sheets, records, users, screens, workflows, personalization, and actions.
14. Sync or adjust the app as needed if the current Notion source data has changed since the snapshot was created.
